| Extent/Distribution Chiselborough: a small parish covering about 0.3% of the area of the parish. Within this parish there are approximately 6.2 kilometres of hedgerows per 1 km. Aerial photographic interpretation of randomly selected 1 km squares suggests this is likely to be typical for the whole district, giving a total resource of approximately 6000 km No information exists on the proportion of species-rich hedgerow within the district, but 33% of hedgerows in Chiselborough would receive protection on the basis of their vascular plant composition or historical significance under the Hedgerow Regulations of 1997.
